Who this covers

This policy explains how Statlyx ("Statlyx," "we," "us") collects, uses, and shares information when you use statlyx.com and the dashboard, whether you're a creator with an account or a brand viewing a public kit or tracked link. Using the Service means you agree to the practices described here.

Information we collect

We collect three general categories of information:

  • Account information. When you sign up, we collect the email address you use for magic-link sign-in. We don't collect or store a password.
  • Kit content you provide. Anything you enter to build your media kit: your name, niche headline, tagline, bio, contact email, availability status, profile photo and hero photos, platform handles and follower/engagement numbers, audience demographics, content mix categories, showcased post links and thumbnails, case study details and screenshots, rate card items, usage terms, turnaround time, and press mentions.
  • Usage and link data. When someone opens one of your personalized outreach or campaign links, we log the event (a view of your kit, or a click through a campaign link), the time it happened, the site the visitor arrived from, and whether the page was scrolled far enough to reach your rate card. We also store a one-time code that stops the same visit being counted twice — it can’t be traced back to the visitor or shown to anyone. That is the whole record: no IP address, no device or browser details, and no cookie is set on the visitor. We filter out known bots and link-preview scanners so they don't count as real activity.

Your kit is public by design

This is the part worth reading carefully: your media kit page (and the profile, platform, audience, content, rate, and case study information on it) is publicly visible to anyone with your kit link, by design, that's how brands view it. Only add information to your kit that you're comfortable sharing publicly. Your dashboard login itself, and your account email, are never shown on your public kit.

If you're a brand opening a personalized link

A link of the form statlyx.com/l/… is a personalized link a creator sent to you specifically. Opening it records, for that creator only: that the link was opened, when, the site you arrived from, and whether the page was scrolled as far as the creator's rate card. We also store a one-time code that stops your visit being counted twice — it can’t be traced back to you or shown to anyone. The creator is also emailed the first time their link is opened. That is the entire record. We don't set a cookie on you, we don't store your IP address or browser details, we don't identify you personally, and this information isn't shared with anyone but the creator whose link you opened. The kit page itself tells you this before you read it. A creator's main kit link (statlyx.com/k/…) records nothing at all.

Connected platform accounts (Instagram today, more planned)

Statlyx offers the option to connect a social platform account (Instagram today, with more planned) so your follower count can update automatically instead of being entered by hand. If you choose to connect an account:

  • We request read-only access to basic profile information and follower count for the account you connect. We don't request access to engagement rate, insights, or any data beyond that.
  • We do not post, message, or take any action on your behalf on that platform.
  • We do not access or store your private messages, contacts, or content you haven't chosen to showcase.
  • Data pulled from a connected account is used solely to populate your own media kit and is not sold, shared with advertisers, or used to build profiles of you for any purpose outside the Service.
  • You can disconnect a platform account at any time from your dashboard, which stops future syncing; previously synced numbers remain on your kit until you update or remove them.

How we use your information

  • To operate the dashboard and render your public kit and tracked links.
  • To send you transactional email: your sign-in link, and a notification the first time each outreach link you create is opened.
  • To show you view and click activity on your own tracked links.
  • To maintain and improve the Service, including diagnosing bugs and abuse.

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell it.

Who we share it with

We use a small number of service providers to run Statlyx, each acting as a data processor on our behalf, not an independent owner of your data:

  • Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage.
  • Resend — delivery of sign-in and notification emails.
  • Vercel — application hosting.

We don't share your information with any other third party except where required by law, to protect the rights and safety of Statlyx or our users, or with your explicit direction (for example, connecting a platform account as described above).

Cookies

We use a small number of cookies required to keep you signed in and to complete the sign-in process itself. We don't use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.

Data retention and deletion

We keep your account and kit data for as long as your account is active. Self-serve account deletion isn't available in the dashboard yet, if you'd like your account and all associated data deleted, email us (see Contact below) and we'll process the request within 30 days.

Security

Your dashboard data is protected by row-level access controls, so only you can view or edit your own kit, platform data, and links. We use industry-standard providers for hosting, database, and email, and rely on their infrastructure-level security in addition to our own access controls.

Children's privacy

Statlyx is not directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect information from anyone under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we'll remove it.

Changes to this policy

If we make material changes to this policy, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continuing to use Statlyx after a change means you accept the updated policy.
