Getting started with Statlyx
This walks through everything from your first sign-in to sending a brand your first personalized pitch link. Takes about ten minutes to set up, and you can always come back and fill in more later, nothing has to be perfect before you start.
The step-by-step process
Sign in with a magic link
Go to statlyx.com and enter your email, no password to remember. We'll send a sign-in link to your inbox; click it and you're straight into your dashboard. First time signing in, check your spam folder if it doesn't show up within a minute or two.
Fill out your profile
Add your name, niche, tagline, a short bio, and a profile photo. Set your availability status (open, limited, or booked) so brands know where things stand before they even message you. This is the first thing a brand sees, so it's worth doing first.
Add your platforms
Add each platform you post on with your handle and real follower/engagement numbers. Only add platforms you're actually active on, a focused kit beats a padded one. Not sure where to find a number, how to estimate your content mix, or what counts as a case study? Every panel that needs it has a short help disclosure with exact steps, right where you're filling it in.
Set your content mix and audience
Break down what your content is actually about, and who's watching (age range, gender, top locations), so a brand can tell if you're a fit at a glance. These are self-reported estimates, they don't need to be exact, just honest.
Build your rate card
List what you charge for each type of deliverable, plus usage terms and typical turnaround time. Having this upfront means you're never put on the spot naming a price, and it keeps every brand conversation consistent.
Add case studies and press, if you have them
Worked with a brand before? Add it as a case study. Been mentioned somewhere? Add it to Press & features. Neither is required to get started, skip this for now if it's your first kit and come back once you've got something to add.
Create a personalized link for the brand you're pitching
Don't send your generic kit link. In the dashboard's personalized links section, create one link per brand or per pitch. It renders the exact same kit, but tells you the moment that specific brand opens it, so you always know whether your pitch actually landed.
Tracked pitch links are unlimited on every plan, so give each brand its own. If you ever stop pitching one, archive it — anyone who already has that link lands on your main kit instead, and you keep seeing its opens in the dashboard.
Send it
Drop the personalized link straight into your pitch email or DM. Need a QR code or a PDF version for somewhere a link doesn't work well, both are one click away from the Share & export panel. For what to actually say in the pitch, see how to pitch it.
Watch for the notification
The first time that brand opens your link, you'll get an email letting you know. You can also check view and click activity for every link right from the dashboard, no more wondering if a pitch went into a black hole.
Worth knowing
- Your kit is public by design, anyone with the link can view it. Only add what you're comfortable a brand seeing.
- Nothing needs to be finished before you start pitching. A kit with just platforms and a rate card is already more than most creators send.
- You can edit any section at any time, your live link always reflects the latest version, no re-sending required.
- Your kit's theme (in the dashboard's Theme panel) only changes the page you share, never your editor. Midnight is the default and works for most niches and sponsors; switch to Studio if the brands you pitch skew more traditional or corporate, or Editorial for lifestyle, beauty, and fashion pitches.
Ten minutes of setup, and you've got a live pitch link that tells you exactly when it lands.
